Simone D'Auria is born in Bergamo on 29 September 1976. After his studies in architecture, he gets closer with the art world working as Art Director for several famous brans, like: Ferragamo, Piaggio, MV Augusta, Leica, Bally Sportmax, Paola Frani. From the very beginning he demonstrates to be a very eclectic artist especially for his ability to combine design with sculpture in a completely personal and expressive way creating immense environmental installations also for public spaces. His poetics reevaluates the importance of everyday objects from spoons and wasps to pinwheels or flowers in order to raise the awareness of the importance to respect the ecosystem as much as animals. Simone D'Auria is currently an international artist as well as exhibiting in some of the most important worldwide museums and foundations as Farnesina, Triennale di Milano, Moma, ONU NYC, Mont Blanc Cultural Foundation, Rosini Gutman Foundation and St Moritz Art Masters. Furthermore, his artworks are periodically presented at prestigious art fairs such as Art Karlshuhe Germany, Art Basel Basilea and Art Basel Miami.
