Roberto Mora

Born in Italy in 1964, now Roberto Mora lives and works in Sant'Ilario d'Enza (Reggio Emilia). He is a painter and graphic who embraces the radical design practices and theories later from the beginning of his artistic career. His work prefers iron marked by the most disparate forms and origins to make "recycling" the most sensitive form of art. The “art-objects” by Roberto Mora are in continuous balance between function and dystrophy characterized by lightness, transparency and irony. For this reason he is known as an atypical designer and distant from the serial production. Roberto Mora exhibits his prototypes or small numbered series both in international design events such as in Milan, Athens, Paris, Moscow and New York and in important private collections in Italy and abroad.
