Born in Bologna in 1984, Serena Zaniboni is known in Europe and Japan for being a complete and multifaceted artist, from singer to painter, from musician to bodypainter, from performer to illustrator and from digital artist to visual artist. Her artistic career begins with very expressive performances which, combining in live painting with music and technology, constituted not only a winning formula for reaching a large audience at an international level, but above all a fundamental springboard for making her vision of synesthesia known. In 2009 she decides to enrich her body painting performances with the power of digital art especially interested in AI. In 2018 she completes the “ZE HOP Project”, a multimedia show of visual art and video mapping that mixes electronic, trip hop and downtempo music. She performs in prestigious clubs, theaters and in the most renowned festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Hotananny Brixton in London, the B-Flat Katerholzigh in Berlin, Artèria in Bologna and the Kizumi Hall in Kobe.
